BIOGRAPHY 1931 Born in USA; educated at Harvard University 1956 Completed three years military service, based in Japan 1956/58 Studied at Art Students League, NYC and with Hans Hoffman 1958/60 Resident in Rome, while travelling through Europe 1961 Married and settled near Bridport, Dorset, UK 1962 First visit to Greece 1963/65 Visiting teacher of painting, Camberwell School of Art 1968 Designed decor and costumes for Le Baiser de la Fee, Dutch National Ballet, Amsterdam 1969 First visit to Atlas mountains, Morocco 1970 Participated on various panels and boards, such as AIR, SPACE, Southwest Arts and the Arts Council 1975 First visit to Vaucluse, Northern Provence, France 1981 Subject of film shown on the South Bank Show, I.T.V.
